Art Education has been a very important area of work for Karla Hernando.

She taught during  10 years in different education environments. She took aspects of the italian methodology called Reggio Emilia and expermiented with different schools, and museums and art centers, how to develop art projects to learn and discover the world.

 

She developed visual documentation of some of the different projects she did with her students. She wanted to research how children where learning and having big improvements through art as an important element to grow and learn how to communicate.

 

At Habla: The Center of Language and Culture, she develop together with the directors of the school a space called Creative Space. Every summer during 4 years she designed and developed a lab school of arts and language where diffent type of artist and students came for a period to work with the students and develop really interesting projects together.

 

Karla Hernando Flores La Educación Artística ha sido un área muy importante de trabajo para Karla Hernando. Ella ha enseñado durante 10 años en diferentes ambientes educativos. Ella tomó aspectos del enfoque educativo Italiano llamado Reggio Emilia y experimentó con diferentes escuelas, museos y centros de arte, para desarrollar proyectos para aprender y descubrir el mundo. 

 

Ella desarrollo documentación visual de algunos de los proyectos que hizo con sus estudiantes, ya que que deseaba investigar a la par como era el aprendizaje de los niños y cual era su abance usando el arte como elemento determinante para crecer y  aprender a comunicarse.

 

En Habla: el centro de lenguaje y cultura, ella desarrollo junto con los directores de la escuela un espacio llamado Creative Space. Cada verano durante 4 años, ella diseñaba y desarrollaba una escuela laboratorio de arte e idiomas donde diferentes tipos de artistas venían a trabajar durante un periodo con los estudiantes y desarrollaban pryectos realmente interesantes juntos.
